The company describes the story:
Devils cannot take form without a living host. However, if the will of an individual is strong enough, they can overcome the demon and make its power their own, becoming a Devilman.
Akira Fudou is described as weak and unassuming, but he possesses a bleeding heart. When his childhood friend Ryou Asuka asks for his help in finding demons, Akira immediately agrees without hesitation. However, they end up in Sabbath, which is known for its immorality and degeneracy. During this time, demons take over the bodies of partygoers, transforming them into monstrous creatures that wreak havoc. Despite his initial shock, Akira bravely tries to save his friend by merging with the devil Amon and becoming Devilman, gaining the ability to defeat the remaining demons.
Despite granting Akira immense strength, his collaboration with Ryou stirred up an ancient and intense emotion within him. With his devilish form yet sensitive disposition, Akira joins forces with Ryou in protecting people from harm and avenging his loved ones.
