Yumeta Company animates new series
The anime series based on MIXL's Monster Strike mobile role-playing game franchise will debut on Tokyo MX on October 21st. It will run for one cours (a quarter of a year) on this channel as well as on 45 other stations across Japan.
The website also revealed the show's full staff and new visual.
Masao Ōkubo ( Record of Ragnarok , Record of Ragnarok II ) is directing the anime at Yumeta Company . ARCH is producing the anime. Noriyuki Nakamura ( Shoot! Goal to the Future , Zumomo to Nupepe ) is the assistant director, and Hayato Kazano ( Classroom of the Elite first three seasons) and Jin Haganeya ( Guilty Crown , Azur Lane ) are both overseeing and writing the series scripts. Kazumi Inadome ( Un-Go ) is designing the characters.

In 2013, MIXL introduced their first version of the game for both iOS and Android platforms in Japan. They released the English version of the game a year later. Unfortunately, this version was discontinued in 2017. Meanwhile, another version of the game was released for Nintendo 3DS in Japan in 2015.
In October 2015, the initial broadcast of the first 52 episodes of the Monster Strike anime series was announced. However, it eventually premiered online instead. The second part of the show's second season began in April 2017 and ran until September 2017. The second part of this second season was titled "Monster Strike the Anime: The Fading Cosmos" and premiered in October 2017.
In July 2018, the anime's third season was released with 12 episodes. Following this, there were five episodes of an Arthur spinoff series, seven episodes of a Lucifer spinoff series, and 13 episodes of a Solomon spinoff series, all of which are considered part of the overall third season of the anime. In May 2019, Arthur Kishiō no Kakusei (Arthur (2nd)) was released with seven episodes, while Noah Hakobune no Kyūseishu (The Savior of Noah's Arc) was released with six episodes in July 2019. Finally, Lucifer: The Final Arc (Lucifer Wedding Game) was released with English subtitles in October 2020 with seven episodes.
YouTube premiered Monster Strike : End of the World in November 2019 as the final arc of the anime series.
In September 2020, the anime "The Hareruya: Fated Choice" was streamed online on YouTube, Twitter Live, and Abema TV. This was the first interactive anime where viewers could choose between two options that would determine how the last 10 minutes of the anime would end.
In Japan, the first Monster Strike movie was released in December 2016. Crunchyroll began streaming it in May 2017. The second movie, Sora no Kanata (Beyond the Sky), came out in October 2018. Lucifer Dawn of Despair (Monster Strike The Movie: Lucifer Zetsubō no Yoake) was released in November 2020 after delays. Crunchyroll streamed it in August 2021.
