On September 19th, in Japan, twelve cinemas in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Hokkaido will host midnight screenings of Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc. This is based on Tatsuki Fujimoto 's manga of the same name. Additionally, MX4D, 4DX, and Dolby Cinema screenings will also be available. To promote these new screenings, a poster has been released.

They plan to showcase it in U.S. cinemas on October 24, four days ahead of its initial October 29 release date. In Britain, it will premiere on October 29 as well. Moreover, it will be released earlier in over 80 nations on September 24.
Denji became “Chainsaw Man”, a boy with a devil's heart, and is now part of Special Division 4's devil hunters. After a date with Makima, the woman of his dreams, Denji takes shelter from the rain. There he meets Reze, a girl who works in a café.

In the film "JANE DOE," Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada perform the ending theme song "JANE DOE." Additionally, Yonezu sings the film's theme song "IRIS OUT." Maximum The Hormone's "Hawatari Nioku Centi" (2-Hundred-Million-Centimeter-Blades) will be featured as an insert song in the film. The film will include the "Hawatari Nioku Centi (Zentai Suitei 70% Kaikin edit)" (Estimated 70% Unredacted Edit) version of the song. Previously, in the television anime series, a shorter, 90-second version of the track was used as the ending song for episode 3. However, due in part to the second half of the lyrics referencing the character Reze, the band did not release the longer version of the song until now.
In October 2022, the television anime series was launched simultaneously across multiple platforms including TV Tokyo and its affiliates, Amazon Prime Video, and Crunchyroll, which is streaming it in over 200 countries worldwide.
Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita.
On one occasion, Denji meets with treachery and meets his untimely demise. In his final moments, he enters into a pact with Pochita which results in him being resurrected as "Chainsaw Man," endowed with a heart imbued with malevolence.
In December 2018, Fujimoto introduced the "Chainsaw Man" series in Weekly Shonen Jump. After finishing its initial storyline in December 2020, it began its second part titled "Gakkō-hen" on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ platform in July 2022. For three consecutive years, "Chainsaw Man" received the Best Manga award at The Harvey Awards.
In September to October of 2023, a stage play based on a manga was performed in both Tokyo and Kyoto.
