'Pass the Monster Meat, Milady!' TV Anime Reveals 6 More Cast Members, October 2 Debut in New Video
Nobuhiko Okamoto, Ryōhei Kimura, more join cast
On Friday, the main promotional video was released on the official website for the television anime adaptation of the light novel series "Kanata Hoshi's Pass the Monster Meat, Milady!" (Akujiki Reijō to Kyōketsu Kōshaku: Sono Mamono, Watashi ga Oishiku Itadakimasu!). Additionally, six new cast members were introduced, along with a new visual and the show's October 2 debut date.
Anime series is set to launch on TBS on October 2nd at 11:28 PM (which is actually October 3rd at 1:28 AM). It will also be broadcasted on BS11 on October 3rd.
The new cast members include (name romanizations not confirmed):
- Takashi Kondō as Kauss Laforg
- Nobuhiko Okamoto as Mullan Sero
- Ryōhei Kimura as Maxim du Livastal Mild Langtias
- Shin Furukawa as Anbry Shal
- Daisuke Hirakawa as Zeff Senjin
- Toshiki Masuda as Claude Fole
The release date of the anime has been changed from April to October. Crunchyroll will broadcast it globally except in Asia.
Kanna Nakamura plays Melphiera Marchalrayd, while Taito Ban plays Aristide of Galbraith.
Asahi Production is directing the anime for Mutsumi Takeda of B-PROJECT Passion*Love Call. Keiichirō Ōchi is in charge of overseeing the series scripts for The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten and The Quintessential Quintuplets. Masato Katō is responsible for character design in Peach Boy Riverside and Giant Beasts of Ars. Takaaki Nakahashi is composing music for Nichion for Peach Boy Riverside and The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold To Another Kingdom.

AVAM will sing the introductory tune "Sugary Story" during their performance, while Shunichi Toki will sing the concluding track "Kibō Kōdo" at the end of their show.
Chika Mizube's light novel adaptation is now available in print from Kodansha USA Publishing. At the same time, Kodansha's K MANGA service provides a digital version of the manga and offers a summary of the story.
Melphiera is an earl's daughter who's shunned by most of the nobility, thanks to rumors about her proclivity for monster-based cuisine. When she attends a party in hopes of finding someone to wed, she's attacked by a vicious monster—only to be saved by Aristide of Galbraith, feared as the “Blood-Mad Duke.” He begins to take a liking to Melphiera…and before long, he's even interested in the “hobby” she never dared to tell anyone else! Love, battle, and great cuisine await in this romantic fantasy!
Hoshi launched ( link ) In 2019, there was a tale posted on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. Kodansha released the first light novel with illustrations by Peperon in April 2021, followed by the third volume in April 2023.
In 2021, Pixiv introduced the manga version of "Palcy" through their app. This year, on April 30th, Japan shipped its tenth compiled book volume of this popular manga series.
