Voice Actors Chinatsu Akasaki, Kent Itō, Reiō Tsuchida Launch Manga About Voice Actress Detective
Seiyū Tantei Akita Shoko manga launches on December 12
Last week, it was announced that voice actors Chinatsu Akasaki, Kent Itō, and Reiō Tsuchida will launch a new manga titled Seiyū Tantei Akita Shoko (Voice Actress Detective Shoko Akita) in the January 2026 issue of Akita Shoten's Bessatsu Shōnen Champion magazine on December 12th. Kaito Takahashi is drawing the manga, while the three voice actors are providing the original story.
Three individuals serve as presenters on the radio program "Shūkan Akita Shoten Radio Henshūbu," which is produced by publishing company Akita Shoten. The name "Shoko Akita" in the manga is a reference to "Akita Shoten." This work focuses on the journey of a novice voice actress named Shoko Akita, who strives daily to reach the pinnacle of her profession while concealing a hidden truth.
The Shūkan Akita Shoten Radio Henshūbu radio program debuted in April 2020.
