Satsohi Inotmata, Nao Tōyama star in anime about high level villager meeting daughter of demon lord
On Thursday, it was revealed by Kadokawa that they are creating an anime adaptation of Koneko Hoshitsuki's light novel series "The Villager of Level 999" (Level 999 no Murabito). It will be shown in 2026.
In Earthqualia, a realm of magic and weapons, people are born with specific roles or classes. Koji Kagami, despite being from the "villager" class which is considered weak, possesses a level of 999. One day, Koji encounters Alcie, the daughter of the demon lord, and they embark on a journey together to discover how humans and demons can live harmoniously.
Hoshitsuki serialized ( link ) the original story in the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website from July to December 2018, along with a side story in 2019. Kadokawa published the first print volume of the story with illustrations by Fumi in May 2016. The eighth and final novel volume shipped in January 2019.
Kenichi Iwamoto launched ( link ) In May 2017, a manga version was created based on the novels found in Kadokawa's Comp Ace magazine. As of February 26th, the 18th compiled book volume has been published, with the 19th volume set for release on August 26th.
