Blue Miburo Anime Season 2 Streams Promotional Video
2nd season premieres on December 20
On Tuesday, the team behind the TV anime adaptation of Tsuyoshi Yasuda's manga series "Blue Miburo" (Ao no Miburo) released the first promotional video and key visual for its second season. This season will be based on the "Serizawa Assassination" arc from the manga.
The story of "The Blue Wolves of Mibu" has been acquired by Kodansha USA Publishing for publication in English.

Maho Film is bringing back several familiar faces for the new season of their hit anime series "Kumiko Habara" (also known as "I'm Standing on 1,000,000 Lives."). Director Kumiko Habara will be back in charge of the series, along with scriptwriter Kenta Ihara ("Gamera -Rebirth-" and "I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss"). Yūko Ōba ("I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss" and "I'm Standing on 1,000,000 Lives.") will once again design the characters, while Miyako Nishida ("My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1" and "If It's for My Daughter, I'd Even Defeat a Demon Lord") will also return for character design duties. Toshiki Kameyama will be back as the sound director, and Yuki Hayashi will once again compose the music for the series.
The second season will premiere on December 20.
The show began its first season in October 2024. It continued for two consecutive quarters. Crunchyroll broadcasted it live as it was released.
In October 2021, Yasuda began publishing his manga series in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine. By July 2024, the 14th compiled book volume had been released by Kodansha. In April 2024, the "Shinsengumi Arc" of the manga began. On July 16, the sixth volume of this new part of the series was released.
In 2016, a TV anime was created based on Yasuda's DAYS soccer manga. Additionally, from 2017 to 2018, five original video anime episodes were produced. Meanwhile, Yasuda's Over Drive bicycling manga inspired a TV anime in 2007.
