A Love Too Captivating Anime Special Streams on YouTube in India
Special based on Mia Sorahana's BL manga only available with Japanese audio, subtitles
On September 11th, Kodansha's official YouTube channel started broadcasting in India a special anime adaptation of the manga "A Love Too Captivating" by Mia Sorahana. However, only Japanese audio with subtitles is available for viewing.
On April 6th at 11:30 p.m., JST time, the show "Agaru BL Night!" was broadcasted in the programming block of CBC/TBS. Additionally, it was also shown on 27 affiliate channels of CBC/TBS.
Kodansha 's K MANGA service added the manga as a simulpub release, and describes the story:
Misuzu was branded a delinquent when a small incident left him isolated. But one day, he sees the top student, Kitahara, get surrounded by bullies and decides to help him out. That sparked Kitahara's interest in the lonely boy, but Misuzu pushes Kitahara away. "If you get involved with me, you'll get ostracized by everyone else too." But it won't take long for Misuzu's resolve to falter...
In July 2023, Sorahana introduced her manga series in Bessatsu Friend magazine. Kodansha released the fourth volume of her manga on March 13th.
The channel offers both Japanese subtitles and English dubs for shows like Attack on Titan and Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry. They previously streamed Hindi translations of Cells at Work! manga chapters in motion comic format with added sound effects.
