Anime to depict battle to decide who will play for Japan in finals against Spain
On Sunday, it was announced on the official site of II series that a new anime based on Shin Tennis no Ōji-sama U-17 World Cup Semifinal ( II: U-17 World Cup Semifinal) has been approved and is titled Shin Tennis no Ōji-sama U-17 World Cup Kesshō Member Ketteisen ( II: U-17 World Cup Finals Members Decisive Match).

The anime will portray the struggle for determining which Japanese competitor would compete against Spain in the final match.
II: U-17 World Cup Semifinal is connected to the anime series " II: U-17 World Cup" through being its sequel.
In July 2022, TV Tokyo broadcasted the premiere of II: U-17 World Cup. Crunchyroll simultaneously streamed the anime in Japan as well as provided an English dub version for viewers outside Japan. This marked the first new television anime in the franchise in over ten years.
