On the 22nd floor of New Aincrad, in Kirito and Asunas log house, Asuna, Leafa, Silica, and Lisbeth were doing homework when Lisbeth informed Asuna about a player known as "Zekken" (Absolute Sword) who was challenging players on the 24th floor. The player offered an 11-hit Original Sword Skill as a reward. Zekken had previously converted from another game and over thirty players, including Leafa and Kirito, had tried to challenge him but were defeated. Asuna learned that Kirito had spoken with the player before being defeated, leading her to believe that there was a purpose behind the challenge. Surprised, she decided to take on Zekken herself. To her astonishment, the player turned out to be a girl named Yuuki.
