According to legend, there exists a race of divine beings known as Seraphim who exert an unseen influence on the world through their powers. Those with the ability to communicate with these beings are called "Shepherds," and those deemed pure-hearted enough can even be granted some of the Seraphims abilities. While some view Shepherds as living paragons, others fear their strength and call them demons. Sorey is a young human who has spent his entire life in The Divine Forest, where he lives harmoniously with many Seraphim. He is fascinated by the legends contained within an ancient tome and often ventures into nearby ruins to learn more about the Seraphim and their history, along with his childhood friend Mikleo. One day, while exploring a ruin, Sorey becomes trapped alongside Mikleo and Alisha, who is investigating a series of natural disasters that have been affecting the world. When he discovers that the Seraphim may be involved in these events, Sorey decides to leave his home with Alisha and embark on a journey to uncover the truth.
