After finishing their classes, Okuto Nakamura and Aiki Hirose decide to walk home together. While strolling on a peaceful street, Hirose suggests that they share a kiss, which Nakamura hesitantly agrees to, expressing his deep affection. However, this turns out to be just a dream, and Nakamura wakes up with his pet octopus sucking on him instead! Despite being shy, 16-year-old Nakamura has developed feelings for Hirose since the beginning of the school year. Although he is hesitant to express them due to his timidity, they have become good friends. As summer approaches, Nakamura continues his quest for love.
