Mahjong Legend Akagi, アカギ ～闇に降り立った天才～
Mahjong is a game commonly played with loved ones or in underground societies. Nangou, compulsively addicted to gambling, has accrued over three million yen in debt. Desperate to clear his record, he risks his life by playing mahjong against the mafia. However, as the game progresses, Nangou moves further away from victory and closer to death. Just when all hope seems lost, Shigeru Akagi, a young boy on the run, interrupts the game. Nangou passes the game over to him after teaching him some rules. The mafia watches in amusement as Akagi takes his seat at the table. They soon discover that he is an accomplished gambler who does not fear death and is destined for greatness.
