Due to rising college dorm fees, graduate student Kentou Sasaki is forced to leave his dorm and find an affordable apartment. However, the catch is that neither the bathroom nor stove work at his new place. Despite being cold-tolerant, Kentou moves in immediately due to lack of options. Unfortunately, he nearly freezes to death after a heavy snowfall. Soushi Ikematsu, Kentou's neighbor with an aloof personality who enjoys listening to metal music, saves him by making him a warm meal. Over the course of a year, Kentou and Soushi develop a comfortable routine of sharing meals together. However, Kentou is disappointed that their relationship has not progressed further. Fearful of losing his friendship, he does not have the courage to confess to Soushi that he likes men. Will Kentou be able to keep this secret when he falls in love with Soushi?
