Jak, a teenage boy, attempts to aid his friend Daxter who has been turned into an animal with weasel-like features. With guidance from Samos the Sage, who specializes in harnessing the enigmatic energy known as "Eco," created by an advanced civilization called the Precursors, the duo discovers that they must safeguard their realm from two malevolent sages, Gol and Maia Acheron, who intend to inundate the world with "Dark Eco," a mysterious substance that spoils everything it affects.

Jak x Daxter: Itachi de Warui ka!! is based on the 2001 PS2 game Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.
