Emma, a young girl from Count Banfield in the far reaches of the Algrand Empire, embarks on her journey as a knight. She looks up at her lord who had saved her homeland in the past. However, her first battle does not go as planned, resulting in her being labeled as a failure. She is then sent to a distant planet where she must lead her uninspired unit despite her lack of motivation.
