In reality, Ryouta Sakamoto is considered a disgrace due to being a NEET. However, online, he's one of Btooom!'s top players and reaches the 10th global rank. But his celebration is short-lived when he wakes up on an island far from home. It turns out that a sinister group has kidnapped Ryouta and others, including Himiko and Kiyoshi Taira, to play a real-life version of Btooom! The bombs they carry are now lethal, sending people to their deaths. With his life at stake, Ryouta must find the courage and determination to survive in this deadly game where only seven players can escape.
