In this era, as humanity searches for fresh role models, the emergence of the Lucifer Hawks on Earth brings a new dimension of protection. The A.M.P., comprising six gifted women with extraordinary abilities, is tasked with safeguarding humankind against the terrifying extraterrestrial threats.
Silent Möbius was first published in English as part of the VIZ Select Comics lineup. It had a run of 21 issues from July 1991 to November 1993, split into four parts. Only the first volume was initially published by VIZ Communications in tankoubon format, split into two smaller parts, in September 1992. The series was picked up again by VIZ Comics from May 1999 with the story arc Into the Labyrinth, followed by Karma, Love and Chaos, Catastrophe, Advent, Turnabout, Blood and Hell in 2003, for an additional total of 46 issues. This time, VIZ Media also published the volumes from May 6, 1999 to December 31, 2003. Udon Entertainment relicensed the series with the subtitle Complete Edition but only released the first four volumes from September 8, 2009 to May 3, 2011.
