Futoshi Nishiya
Futoshi Nishiya played a crucial role as an animator, character designer, and head of animation at Kyoto Animation. Tragically, he passed away in 2019 due to an arson attack that occurred at the company's main studio building. At the time of his death, he was only 37 years old.
