Kan Takahama  

In 2001, she made her debut with short stories published in Garo, which later became a collection and won an award. Her distinctive style portrays darker aspects of everyday life using simplified characters and blending manga and Franco-Belgian comics. She is widely recognized for her work on Nyx no Lantern, which received the 24th Osamu Tezuka Cultural Award in 2020.
