Eiichi Kamagata is currently serving as president at Lucent Pictures Entertainment, Inc., while also being a co-founder of their new animation studio "Lucent 4°C". Prior to this role, he held the position of chief producer and production manager at SPE Visual Works Inc. (now Aniplex Inc.), where he played a crucial part in establishing the animation industry. During his tenure there, which lasted for over a decade, Kamagata oversaw the creation of animated feature films, television programs, and original video animations. As a producer, Kamagata has received critical acclaim and success with Tekkon Kinkreet, while also producing some of the most popular animated series such as Gurren Lagann, Gintama, and D.Gray-man. He has also overseen both the business and creative aspects of Naruto and Bleach's animated television series.
