Nobuhiro Yamashita  

Yamashita studied at Osaka University of Arts, where he collaborated on Kazuyoshi Kumakiris film Kichiku Dai Enkai. His graduation project, Hazy Life, won the Grand Prize in the Off Theatre Competition at the 2000 Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival. Yamashita received the Best Director award for A Gentle Breeze in the Village and The Matsugane Potshot Affair at the 32nd Hochi Film Award in 2007. He frequently works with screenwriter Kousuke Mukai.
