After being in a coma for two years due to a traffic accident, Shiki Ryougi has recently woken up with no recollection of her past. She is currently experiencing intense loneliness as she struggles to come to terms with her new reality. To make matters worse, she notices dark lines surrounding objects which she can disassemble when touched-an ability that fills her with immense fear. In an attempt to help Shiki understand and control her powers, Mikiya Kokutou enlists the aid of Touko Aozaki, a skilled mage who specializes in helping individuals harness their unique abilities.
