Once again, the group of friends faces obstacles as Naraku continues his pursuit of the Shikon Jewel shards. However, this time, Inuyasha's companions are determined to prevent him from acquiring them at any cost. As they continue their hunt, Naraku has plans in place to acquire the remaining pieces himself, and will stop at nothing to achieve his goal. As a result of these challenges, Sango and Miroku must decide what is more important to them-each other or their duty as warriors. Meanwhile, Inuyasha must make a difficult decision about his feelings for Kikyou versus Kagome. While the group works together to find the shards, they also need to resolve their differences with each other. In particular, Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha must put aside their feud in order to defeat Naraku once and for all. This battle is crucial as it will finally stop his evil and cruel actions.
