Manatsu Natsumi, a fashionable teenager, moves into the big city for the first time and is immediately captivated by its sights. However, things take an unexpected turn when she meets Laura, a real-life mermaid who is searching for the Precure, a group of powerful warriors who may hold the key to saving Grand Ocean, her home. Manatsu soon becomes one of the Precure, known as Cure Summer, and must adapt to her new life while protecting humanity from oceanic threats. As battles become increasingly challenging, the girls must determine what truly matters to them.
