Shoutarou Futaba has always been passionate about sports but never managed to become more than a benchwarmer on his middle school baseball team. One day, he stumbled upon gymnasts practicing in the park and decided to watch a rhythmic gymnastics tournament out of curiosity. Despite putting on an impressive show, Shoushukan High Schools Rhythmic Gymnastics Club finished second-to-last due to penalties resulting from not fielding a full six-man roster. The performance caught Shoutarou's attention, and he decided to enroll at Shoushukan with the goal of joining the team despite having no background in gymnastics. Alongside him was Ryouya Misato, an exceptional gymnast who had finished second in a junior tournament. With a full six-man roster, the team set its sights on competing in the upcoming Inter-High tournament. However, to have any chance of winning, Shoutarou needed to learn and master the fundamentals of rhythmic gymnastics while working closely with his new teammates.
