After losing his leg during his first adventure, our hero retired and settled back down in his hometown. He spent his days collecting medicinal herbs, hunting magic beasts and wild animals, and helping with the villagers' farming work. It was difficult to determine whether he should be classified as an adventurer or a handyman. As time passed, he grew older and approached thirty years of age. While exploring the mountains in search of herbs, our protagonist stumbled upon an abandoned child. His now-grown daughter had also expressed a desire to become an adventurer, inspired by watching her father throughout her childhood. Although her father had taught her sword fighting since she was young for self-defense purposes, her talent with the weapon was truly remarkable. Thinking that it would be better for his daughter not to spend the rest of her life in the countryside, our hero sent her off to join the adventurers' guild in the Capital city. Five years later, at the age of forty, he remained a pseudo-adventurer in the countryside, while his daughter had become a distinguished S-Class adventurer and hadn't returned home once yet.
