Senjou no Valkyria: Gallian Chronicles

In Europa, a made-up land that looks like 1930s Europe, there are two dominant nations: the Imperial Empire, which is a monarchy located in the east, and the Federation, a group of democracies found in the west. This world values ragnite, a crucial resource used for both warfare weapons and medical treatments. Due to its significance, the Federation and Empire are perpetually at odds over it. The narrative unfolds in Gallia, a neutral nation with abundant ragnite reserves. When the Empire decides to invade Gallia and seize its ragnite, the story follows Welkin, Isara, Alicia, and other members of Squad 7 as they fight against Imperial forces to protect their homes and livelihoods. Welkin leads Squad 7 as its commander, using the Edelweiss tank; Alicia scouts; Isara pilots the Edelweiss; and other characters contribute their unique skills.
