Honoka Takamiya was content with his ordinary life, but his main issue was sharing a school with Ayaka Kagari, the "Princess" at their institution. Both boys and girls admired her, making it challenging for Honokas daily routine since he rode the same bus as her in the morning and sat beside her in class. To make matters worse, if he interacted casually with her, her fan club would attack him mercilessly! One fateful day while disposing of waste, Honoka looked up to see a school building collapsing on top of him. At the last possible moment, Ayaka saved him from certain doom by speaking to him for the first time. She had been secretly protecting him all along, but now that someone was attacking him directly, she no longer needed to conceal her actions. It turned out that Ayaka possessed powers as a fire witch and there were other witches in existence who desired to capture Honoka and exploit the abilities he contained within himself.

Episode 1 was previewed at a screening at Cinemart Shinjuku in Tokyo on December 29, 2013. Regular broadcasting began on January 5, 2014.
