After the conclusion of the Sakura Card Arc, life returns to normalcy. There are no more enigmas or disturbances caused by evil forces, and there are no longer any trials of strength. People are resuming their daily routines, and Sakura is experiencing a sense of sadness in her heart. Despite saying goodbye to those she cares about, Sakura remains determined to keep them close to her, including a special someone who holds a special place in her heart.
This episode was released bundled with the special edition of the third volume of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card. It adapts the ending of the original manga accurately as opposed to the original series and The Sealed Card which had an original ending. However, the TV anime of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card follows the original anime's continuity rather than the manga or prologue OVA.
