Kohane Hatoya's greatest strength is also her biggest weakness - her enthusiasm to help others no matter what it takes. Her inspiration for this comes from seeing cheerleading for the first time in middle school and now as a highschooler, she dreams of starting her own squad. Although encouraged by her best friend Uki Sawatari, Kohane lacks experience in cheerleading and has no idea about what to do, wear or perform. To make things worse, she is scared of heights since childhood, which is exacerbated by the stunts involved in this new sport. In order to overcome these challenges, Kohane approaches Hizume Arima, a former cheerleader who wants to leave her pastime behind. Unfortunately for Hizume, Kohane recognizes her and will stop at nothing to lead the new squad, even if it means facing her fear of heights.
