At Tanenashi High School, a disinterested freshman is on the lookout for a low-commitment club that meets his requirements. He eventually stumbles upon the enchanting clubroom and discovers an upperclasswoman practicing her magic tricks. Although she struggles with stage fright and often makes mistakes in her performances, which can lead to embarrassing situations, the freshman becomes a member of the club despite having little enthusiasm for it. As he navigates through the awkward moments with his quirky mentor, he learns valuable lessons about perseverance and self-improvement.
