The first episode provides an overview of SM, SM R, and SM S. Subsequently, the second episode focuses on Haruka and Michiru's experience aboard a cruise ship where they encounter one of SuperS' enemies. They ultimately decide to leave this foe to the hands of the classical Sailor Team. This is why the outer members of the team are absent in this season. In episode 3, Chibiusa discovers that one of her classmates is a monster and engages in battle with the Sailor Team within a vampire castle.
