A Paladin named Oliver from the Chasseurs has been influenced by a prejudice against all Vampires being inherently evil, which led him to devote his life to their elimination in accordance with his faith. When Moreau's secret laboratory was destroyed deep within the catacombs, he went there and found Roland Fortis, Maria, and Georges. It seems that Roland and Oliver are close friends.
