Kiminobu Kogure  

Four Eyes, Megane-kun, 木暮 公延

Kiminobu Kogure serves as Shohokus vice-captain and has been friends with Akagi and Mitsui since their time on the team together. He is one of only two players who have remained on the team for all three years, with Mitsui leaving during their first year and other players quitting due to Akagis intense training regimen. Alongside Miyagi and Ayako, he consistently works to bring out Hanamichis full potential. Kogure is known for being gentle, empathetic, and friendly, usually wearing glasses on the court (hence Sakuragis nickname "Megane-kun"). However, when necessary, he displays remarkable willpower and blunt honesty, such as during his confrontation with Mitsui in the gym fight. Despite spending much of his time on the bench, Kogure brings valuable experience and firepower to the team when he's on the court. He is a skilled shooter and tactician who hit a crucial three-pointer against Ryonan.
