Father Cornellos right-hand man was a devoted follower of his religion, and he played an important role in Lior's events. After Ed and Als arrival, Cornello informed Cray that Ed was actually a State Alchemist who had come to Lior for reconnaissance purposes. As a result, Cornello ordered Cray to eliminate the Elrics in the name of their god. However, when Cray attempted to take off Alphonses head with a shot, he only discovered an empty armor, and failed in his mission. During the siege of Lior, Cray searched for Cornello but was instead devoured by Gluttony after finding the Homunculi instead. His skeleton can be seen near the end of chapter 50.
