Denny Brosh and Maria Ross are a couple who work together in protecting Edward Elric. While Brosh is quite lazy and nosy, he has a strong affection for his partner. He's also very sensitive to criticism and can become depressed at the slightest insult. In the anime, Brosh later joins the rebellion against King Bradley and saves several characters from execution. When Ross appears to have died in the manga, Brosch is deeply saddened but understands that it's best for him not to know she's alive because he struggles to control his emotions. Finally, when Roy Mustang starts attacking Central, Brosh rushes into the city to help out.
