Despite sometimes being distracted or absent-minded, arisugawa nino is deeply passionate about singing. as children, she and her friend momo often sang together as a way of escaping their parents' arguments. however, after momos sudden disappearance, nino stopped singing and instead felt the urge to shout loudly. unable to control herself, she started wearing a surgical mask. later on, meeting a boy named yuzu gave her new confidence in her voice. when yuzu left, nino began hoping that one day her singing would bring back both momo and yuzu.
