Each day, a young girl wearing a mask stands by the beach and sings a nostalgic melody. For six years, she has been fulfilling a childhood promise made with two friends-her first love Momo Sakaki and a boy who composed music, Kanade "Yuzu" Yuzuriha. Although they have never met each other, both boys promised that if Nino was ever separated from them, her voice would be the beacon to reunite them once again. Now that destiny has brought them all to the same high school, their lives have changed in many ways-Nino is determined to fulfill her childhood promise with the boys, Yuzu's feelings for Nino from the past resurface, and Momo goes great lengths to prevent a reunion with Nino.
