Moritakas uncle passed away due to overwork. Initially, Moritaka believed that he had taken his own life until he discovered the true cause of death upon seeing his work. Taro Kawaguchi is the pen name used by Moritakas uncle for his writing. Although Moritaka was fond of Mihos mother, it was too late for him to express his feelings to her.
