Lieutenant Yoki, ヨキ

Yoki was initially a corrupt military officer who imposed high taxes on the town of Youswell, causing its citizens to become bankrupt. When the Elric brothers arrived in town, they tricked Yoki into giving up ownership and reported his actions to the military. As a result, he lost his rank and became homeless, living near Central. There, he met Scar, a fugitive, and later betrayed him by informing the military of his location. In the anime, Yoki was killed during a raid to capture Scar, while in the manga, he was forced to work for Scar under threat of death and called him "master." Since then, Yoki has assumed a role as comic relief, often getting hurt when trying to act superior to others.
