Takao, a freshman at Shuutoku High, shares some similarities with Kuroko in terms of being a passing expert. However, unlike Kuroko, Takao does not possess invisibility. Instead, he has an exceptional skill known as the "Hawks Eye," which surpasses even Seirins Izukis "Eagles Eye" in its range and ability to see everything without focusing on anything. The main difference between these two skills is their scope; while the "Eagles Eye" can only focus on a specific area, the "Hawks Eye" has an extensive range of vision that allows Takao to see everything around him. Takao's "Hawks Eye" does have one weakness - when Kuroko intentionally draws attention to himself, Takao unconsciously focuses on him, allowing Kuroko to use misdirection successfully and disappear from Takao's view. In his free time, Takao enjoys spending time with Midorima, often driving him around in a trailer for his bicycle. Despite flipping a coin every time they determine who will drive the other, Midorima always wins.
