Mitsuru Kirijo is the sole child of Takeharu Kirijo, head of the Kirijo Group, and she holds several positions at her school: top-ranking valedictorian and student council president. In combat, she wields one-handed swords such as rapiers and sabers. Her Personas specialize in ice spells, making her a formidable offensive magic caster, second only to the main character. Mitsuru has been fighting Shadows for an extended period of time. Upon discovering the potential of the main character as a Persona-user, she, along with Ikutsuki, invites him into SEES. At first, she serves as a support character, offering analysis and advice. However, after Fuuka Yamagishi's discovery, whose analytical abilities are stronger than Mitsuru's, she joins the party in battle.
