In every released Pokemon series, there exists a character named Nurse Joy who is present in towns, cities, and regions across multiple locations. Despite having identical appearances, voices, and personalities, it's speculated that they are related somehow. However, instances have occurred where a Nurse Joy exhibits different characteristics, such as the sun-tanned one from the Orange Islands. Brock is capable of distinguishing between them based on minute differences in their appearance.
Nurse Joys work in the medical field and love Pokemon, displaying immense patience and care. They serve as heads of Pokemon Centres. The majority of Nurse Joy's chosen Pokemon are Chansey and Blissey, nurturing creatures that aid in the operation of Pokemon Centres.
