Home edition will also be released in the US, including art cards and a poster

Shinya Komi and HiRock ' s EX-ARM manga is being released as a collector's edition by Anime Limited on May 19th. This edition includes four art cards and one A3 poster.

Anime Limited also announced this edition will be available in the US.

While some individuals on Twitter questioned whether Anime Limited's recent statement was an April Fool's prank, the company has confirmed that it was not. The declaration was issued after 5 pm in the UK, which falls beyond the 12 pm cut-off time for April Fools Day celebrations. Additionally, there is a standard order page for the product on AllTheAnime's website, indicating that it was not intended as a joke.

According to Anime Limited, the show has been widely debated among critics.

In essence, the manga revolves around Akira Natsume, a high school student whose brain is preserved after a traffic accident. It is later integrated into an advanced weapon. In order to recover his memories and physical form, Akira collaborates with the police's EX-ARM countermeasure division.

Visual Flight Studio was responsible for creating the anime adaptation of Yoshikatsu Kimura's work. Tommy Morton was in charge of writing the series scripts while Sō Kimura composed the music. Airflip performed the theme song "Rise Again" for the series, while Dizzy Sunfist sang "Diamonds Shine" for the ending theme song.

In February 2015, HiRock's story was introduced as part of a remake of Komi's earlier EX-VITA manga in Shueisha's Grand Jump magazine. After moving to the Shonen Jump+ website and app in December 2017, the series ended in June 2019.
