Utsubushi-sensei no Kakenai Seikatsu centers on novelist with writer's block
Last Friday, it was announced on the official website of Shinchosha's digital manga magazine that Honda, the manga creator, will launch a new manga called Utsubushi-sensei no Kakenai Seikatsu (Utsubushi's Life With Writer's Block) on Friday.
The comedy manga centers on Tadao Utsubushi, a novel writer for the fictional publisher Hakugeisha, who is suffering from writer's block. The manga's story follows Utsubushi as he struggles to get writing again.
In January 2020, Akita Shoten published the manga series "From Sick Planet With Love" in their "Mystery Bonita" magazine. This manga was based on the James Bond story "From Russia with Love." The series ended on January 6th this year, and its final compiled book volume was published on March 14th.
In August 2015, Honda introduced the Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san manga series on pixiv Comic. This series ended in March 2019 after four volumes were published. Yen Press is currently translating this series into English and has released its fourth volume in May 2020.
In October 2018, an anime adaptation of the manga series "The Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san" was released. Crunchyroll made this series available for streaming as it was being broadcasted.
