Shinsei Galverse NFT Project's Anime Reveals Staff, Summer Debut

Shinsei Galverse founder Ayaka Ohira directs anime at S.o.K

On Thursday, Shinsei Galverse NFT project based in Tokyo declared that their upcoming anime series will be released this summer. Although they unveiled their team behind the anime, they kept quiet about the anime's specific format.

Ayaka Ohira, who founded Shinsei Galverse, is known for creating and directing the anime at S.o.K. Yūta Takamura, who directed JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable and The Most Notorious "Talker" Runs the World's Greatest Clan, collaborated with her on this project. Natsuko Takahashi, who wrote Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, My Love Story!!, and Anne Shirley, wrote the scripts for this anime. Masahiro Okubo, who wrote Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress and Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress episode scripts, also contributed to this project. Satoshi Ishino, who designed characters for Puni Puni Poemy and Tokyo Mew Mew New, created the characters for this anime. Momo Nagayama designed sub-characters for this project.

Ryo Hirata handles prop design, Yang Liu creates background art, Miyoko Ichinose works as color key artist, Tsai Po Lun serves as compositing director of photography, Kentarō Tsubone edits, Jin Aketagawa directs sound, and Tsutomu Ueno adds sound effects. ARCH produces this project.

In 2023, singer Tove Lo collaborated with the NFT project "Shinsei Galverse" based in Tokyo for her animated music video "I like u".

Before working on traditional animation with Yōji Kuri and Manabu Ōhashi, Ohira directed music videos for m-flo, JP THE WAVY, and CHAI. Now, she leads Galverse, which aims to use advanced technology such as digital collectibles, VTubers, and custom AI to create a unique narrative about 8,888 badass Gals traveling through time and space to improve the galaxy.

The Gals are available to purchase via OpenSea.

Wagmi Labs Inc., which is located in Tokyo and specializes in developing NFTs, blockchain technology, and the Web3 ecosystem, has announced plans to launch a Shinsei Galverse anime pilot in the coming year.
