Tetsuya Kakihara, more join cast for anime premiering on July 4
On Friday, the official website for the anime adaptation of Tobirano 's Zutaboro Reijō wa Ane no Moto Konyakusha ni Dekiai Sareru novels announced three additional cast members for the series.
New cast includes (note not all name romanizations are official):
Tetsuya Kakihara as Toppo, the chef at Kyuros' estate
Tatsuyuki Kobayashi as Thomas, an attendant at Kyuros' estate
Yuka Aisaka as Tunica, a hot bath attendant at Kyuros' estate
On July 5th, the anime will be introduced on MBS, TBS, CBC, BS-TBS, and other channels at 1:53 a.m., which is after midnight.
The anime will star:
- Rena Motomura as Marie
- Daiki Hamano as Kyuros
- Minami Tanaka as Anastasia
- Ryōhei Kimura as Louisphon
- Yōko Hikasa as Mio
- Sayaka Ōhara as Ryuu-Ryuu
The anime at LandQ studios is being directed by Takayuki Kitagawa of Tokyo 7th Sisters: Bokura wa Aozora ni Naru and Masakazu Sunagawa of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury is serving as the assistant director. Kenta Ihara of Ishura both seasons, Blue Miburo , Saga of Tanya the Evil is handling both writing and overseeing the series scripts. Akiko Satō of Trigun Stampede and A Condition Called Love is in charge of character design, while Kujira Yumemi of Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible and Dahlia in Bloom: Crafting a Fresh Start With Magical Tools is composing the music.
krage performs the opening theme song "Gesshoku" (Lunar Eclipse), and Myuk performs the ending theme song "Marie."
In July 2020, Chikage Nakakura released a manga version of Gaugau Monster on Futabasha's website. As of December 25th, eight compiled volumes of the manga have been published by Futabasha.
Betrothed to My Sister's Ex is being published in full-color on Comico's English website and app in a vertical-scrolling format. However, the series has not been updated since November 2023. Meanwhile, the black-and-white version of the manga in Japanese continues to be published.
In October 2019, Tobirano introduced his web novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. Then, in April 2020, Futabasha started publishing the light novels with illustrations by Mai Murasaki. They released their eighth volume on January 10.
In April, Seven Seas Entertainment revealed that they had acquired the rights for both the manga and light novel versions of the story. These releases will commence in January 2026. According to the company, the narrative follows a protagonist who embarks on a journey across various seas in search of treasures and adventures.
