NIS America Announces Disgaea 7 Complete for Switch 2
Trailer streamed for game launching this fall
On Thursday, it was revealed by NIS America that the game Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless ( Makai Senki Disgaea 7 ) from Nippon Ichi Software will be available for Nintendo Switch 2 in the fall. An announcement trailer was shown by the company during their stream.
The Disgaea 7 Complete Edition includes both existing and new elements in the form of additional content and features. It comes with an animated Lucky Slumber Cat figurine and a Nethertime Support Force folding fan.
In July 2024, the full version of "Makai Senki Disgaea 7" will be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 in Japan under the title "Makai Senki Disgaea 7: Kore Made no Zenbu Iri Hajimemashita".
The updated version of the game includes a fresh narrative scene featuring the character Asagi, as well as enhancements to maximum stats and the introduction of the boss Rakshasa Baal. These additions can also be purchased independently as downloadable content. Additionally, new gameplay features have been incorporated into the core game through a complimentary update.
The game was released in several regions in October 2023 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam. In Japan, it was released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in January 2023.
In this game, Fuji, a skilled swordsman with the voice of Kaito Ishikawa, and Piririka, a young otaku woman with the voice of Hiyori Nitta, embark on a quest to retrieve the "Hinomoto Tamashii." This journey unfolds in a world inspired by Japanese demons.
In Disgaea 7, there are 45 unique characters available, which is the highest number in the series. Additionally, this game includes an online AI battle mode for players to enjoy. Furthermore, Jumbification is present, where characters become larger, Hell Mode is included for added difficulty, and there is also Item Reincarnation for players to enhance their equipment.
In January 2021, Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny was released for PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan. NIS America released it for Switch in North America and Europe in June 2021, while Nippon Ichi Software released it for PS5 in June 2022 in Japan.
In June 2022, Disgaea 6 Complete was released in North America and Europe for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Later in July 2022, it was also made available in Australia and New Zealand. This version of the game includes all previously released content and DLC.
