On Friday, the official website for the TV anime adaptation of Tadashi Kubo and Nokito's "The Water Magician" light novel series released its second promotional video, which disclosed that the show will start airing on July 3rd.
The video on the site disclosed additional details about the series, including the performers of the opening and ending theme songs. For the opening theme, "Blue Motion" is being sung by Meiyo Densetsu, while Misaki is performing "Tayutau Mamani" (Sway as You Please) for the ending theme. On July 4th at 1:28 a.m., the anime will first be shown on TBS. Additionally, it will be broadcasted on BS11 as well. In Japan, it will start streaming on d Anime Store and other platforms at 2:00 a.m., also on July 4th.
On Friday, Crunchyroll declared that they would broadcast the anime in real-time across North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India as it is being aired in these regions.
Hideyuki Satake is directing the anime at Typhoon Graphics and Wonderland. Jun Kumagai is responsible for writing the scripts for the series. Yūka Kozutsumi is designing the characters for the anime. Bokutengō created a manga adaptation of the novel series which is specifically credited in the anime.
The J-Novel Club will release both English translations of the original novel and its manga adaptation.

Kubō began serializing ( link ) In April 2020, there was a narrative published on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website that continues until now. TO Books started printing this series with Nokito's illustrations in March 2021.
Bokutengō launched ( link ) In September 2021, there was a manga version released on the Comic Corona website that was based on the novels from TO Books. Additionally, Taku created another manga version specifically for children under TO Books' TO Junior Bunko label.
